Who Needs a License?

All dogs, cats, pot-bellied pigs, and ferrets four months of age and older must have:

• A current rabies vaccination
• A City of Jacksonville animal license 

 

Vaccination & Tag Process

When your pet receives its annual rabies vaccination, the veterinarian will:

• Sell you a City of Jacksonville animal license or
• Give you the paperwork to purchase one from the Duval County Tax Collector’s Office
