Kernan & Hogan branches are moving to the new St. Johns Square office
Duval County Tax Collector Jim Overton announced today that both the Kernan Branch, currently located at 12220 Atlantic Blvd. and the Hogan Branch, located at 7120 Hogan Rd., will relocate to a larger state-of-the-art office at 11160 Beach Blvd., Suite 121, in the St. Johns Square shopping center. The transition is scheduled to take place during summer 2026.

USPS Postmark Changes May Affect Mailed Tax Payments
Traditionally, a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) postmark has shown the date when mail was deposited in a mailbox or submitted at the post office counter. However, USPS recently updated its published guidance on what a postmark date represents.
FLHSMV Announces Driver License Exams to be Administered in English Only
Today, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) announced that, beginning Friday, February 6th, all driver license knowledge and skills examinations will be administered exclusively in English. This change applies to all driver license classifications, including exams administered orally.
