Many commonly requested data and reports are readily available online and can be accessed without submitting a public records request.
The Duval County Tax Collector’s Office provides a variety of customizable, real-time reports, including tax roll information, county-held tax certificates, delinquent parcels, and Local Business Tax Receipt reports. Reports can be filtered and downloaded in multiple formats.

How to Submit a Public Records Request
Requests may be submitted in person, by email, or by mail.

What to Include in Your Request
To help us locate the records you are requesting, please provide as much information as possible, including:
- A description of the records you are seeking
- The date range or approximate dates of the records
- Names of individuals, businesses, or other information that may help identify the records
- Your preferred format for receiving the records, if applicable
Please be as specific as possible. A clear description of the records will help us process your request more efficiently.
What to Expect
The Tax Collector’s Office will acknowledge and respond to public records requests promptly and in good faith, consistent with Florida law.
Depending on the nature, volume, and complexity of a request, additional time may be necessary to locate, review, redact, and produce responsive records.
Florida law provides that certain information may be confidential or exempt from public disclosure. When applicable, exempt information will be redacted or withheld as permitted by law.
Fees
There is generally no charge to inspect public records. Fees may apply for copies or for requests that require extensive use of information technology resources or extensive clerical or supervisory assistance, as authorized by Florida law.
For standard copies, Florida law generally permits a charge of up to 15 cents per one-sided page and up to an additional 5 cents for each two-sided page. Other fees may apply depending on the type of record or service requested.
If a request is expected to result in fees, the requester may be provided with an estimate before the records are produced.
