Kernan & Hogan branches are moving to the new St. Johns Square office
Duval County Tax Collector Jim Overton announced today that both the Kernan Branch, currently located at 12220 Atlantic Blvd. and the Hogan Branch, located at 7120 Hogan Rd., will relocate to a larger state-of-the-art office at 11160 Beach Blvd., Suite 121, in the St. Johns Square shopping center. The transition is scheduled to take place during summer 2026.
The new St. Johns Square branch will be a full-service office offering driver license services (including road tests), title services, vehicle registrations, and payment processing for property taxes, local business taxes, animal licenses, hunting and fishing licenses, and parking citations.
“The relocation of our Kernan and Hogan branches to St. Johns Square reflects our continued commitment to enhancing the customer experience,” Overton said.
Additional details regarding the exact closure date of the Kernan and Hogan branches, as well as the grand opening of the St. Johns Square location, will be announced at a later date. Customers are encouraged to check the Tax Collector’s website at www.duvaltc.com for updates.
The Duval County Tax Collector’s Office operates multiple branch locations throughout Duval County, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Many services are also available online 24 hours a day through duvaltc.com. Tag renewal kiosks are available at select Publix locations.
At www.duvaltc.com customers may schedule future appointments or use the “Join the Line” feature for a same day visit feature. Customers no longer have to wait in the branch as they will receive text messages on their mobile phone updating when to head to the branch for service.
