Florida's New Driver License and ID Is Coming
Florida’s newly designed driver licenses and identification cards are beginning to roll out across the state. The new credentials feature enhanced security measures and a design that celebrates Florida, including the Castillo de San Marcos, Florida orange, Space Shuttle Discovery and an alligator incorporated into the REAL ID star.
There is no need to replace your current driver license or ID card. Valid credentials will remain in circulation and will be phased out over time.
